Ground Transportation Planner
In this client-facing role, you will support the Ground Transportation Logistics Lead, ensuring seamless execution of ground transportation logistics for meetings and events catered to executives. Your organization skills and multitasking abilities will play a vital part in pre-planning, on-site management, and post-meeting follow-ups.
As Ground Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will:
- Manage multiple event transportation needs concurrently
- Assist with pre-event coordination including data entry and tracking
- Collaborate with event planners, corporate travel, and third-party vendors
- Serve as a liaison for Executive Admins regarding schedule changes
- Oversee onsite management, confirming vehicles are ready for transportation
You're good at:
- Project management and providing consultation to clients about transportation processes
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrating a professional presence while interacting with executives and attendees
- Anticipating client needs and maintaining high attention to detail
- Problem-solving and managing multiple priorities under pressure
You might also have:
- Prior experience in meeting and event planning
- Knowledge of group ground transportation logistics and incentive programs
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with domestic and international air travel destinations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
You should know:
- This role requires 50% travel for onsite events
- Regular working hours may extend due to event schedules and logistics needs
- The position demands adaptability to changing scenarios and effective stress management while meeting deadlines
