Graduate Intern
POSITION SUMMARY
The Graduate Intern partners with an assigned department to gain hands-on experience, deepen functional knowledge, and develop career-relevant skills aligned with their field of study. This role provides meaningful exposure to organizational practices, processes, and projects while contributing to departmental goals through research, analysis, and operational support.
The Graduate Intern will support a variety of initiatives and projects, working collaboratively with team members to build practical experience and enhance professional competencies applicable to their academic and career objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Develop and apply knowledge through exposure to various functional areas.
• Actively participate in team initiatives, contributing to projects, assignments, and day-to-day departmental activities.
• Conduct research, analyze findings, and prepare reports, presentations, or summaries based on assigned topics or projects.
• Provide administrative and operational support to team members and department leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution, problem-solving, and process improvement efforts.
• Engage in learning opportunities to build understanding of industry practices, organizational systems, and professional standards.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding progress, deliverables, and project outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/ graduate-level program with course work related to the internship opportunity. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have general knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary. Other applications/software may be necessary depending on assignment.

OE - Typical Office Environment:
• Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.
• May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Requires significant use of computer, phone and general office equipment.
• Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects.
• Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.
