JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic server and supervisor to provide an exceptional and memorable dining experience for our guests. As a server, you will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. This role supports both staff and management by fostering a positive, collaborative environment, ensuring smooth operations, and consistently upholding high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate is confident, organized and attentive – an individual who leads by example and understands the importance of anticipating guest and team needs before they arise. They will also perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of their shift.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Provide exceptional service, romance food and knowledgeable sell and up-sell mocktails, cocktails, wine and craft beer
• Serve guests in a prompt and courteous manner, within the seating limits to ensure proper table flips for the next reservation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and wait stations
• Polish glassware, wine glasses and cutlery to the required standard
• Create the proper ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant and adjust as the evening progresses
• Knowledgeably recommend wine and drink pairings to the food menu for the guests
• Go above and beyond in recognition of special occasions for the reservations
• Assist management with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory and daily reports
• Perform other duties as required to ensure exceptional service and team support
• Support front-of-house staff in delivering warm, professional and attentive service
• Lead by example to maintain an elevated guest experience and culture of hospitality
• Delegate responsibilities and adjust staffing flow as needed to ensure efficient service
• Foster strong team communication and collaboration between front and back of house
• Create and maintain an inviting atmosphere that reflects the tone and quality of the restaurant

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Full-Service Dining and provides direct supervision to the Full-Service Dining Servers, Bartenders and Support staff during a shift.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
• Serving It Right Certificate required
• WSET or other professional wine training or certification is an asset
• Experience serving in an elevated restaurant environment
• At least one years’ experience supervising in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with all team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Personable, friendly and outgoing
• High energy and strong work ethic
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays.
