Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Sourcing Intern for our Stamford, CT, USA location.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Summer Intern to join our Global Sourcing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global procurement strategy, with a focus on tariff analysis and cross-functional project coordination. The intern will report directly to the VP, Global Sourcing and Supplier Quality and contribute to high-impact initiatives that support our global supply chain and compliance efforts.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Support the Tariff Task Force by tracking action items and coordinating follow-ups across departments

• Conduct tariff impact analyses and summarize findings for leadership review

• Assist in maintaining and updating tariff classification databases and Excel spreadsheets

• Research trade compliance regulations and support documentation efforts

• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders

• Collaborate with sourcing managers on supplier data collection and analysis

• Participate in mitigation planning and scenario planning

• Support cost-saving initiatives through data analysis

• Help streamline workflows and documentation

• Attend team meetings and contribute to project discussions as necessary

Qualifications:

• Sophomore or higher level in a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Business, Economics, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus

• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI, SAP)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Interest in global trade, tariffs, and procurement strategy

• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset

• Prior internship or coursework in supply chain or international business preferred

• Must be available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during the summer
