What You'll Do:

As a Global Product Manager, you are accountable for the profitability and growth of assigned Life Science global product lines.  You will create and implement the overall product line strategy to guide future developments and ensure the continued growth and financial performance of your product lines. 

 

What We're Looking For:

• Develop global product line strategy that maintains alignment with the business, market and technology strategies  

• Develop and manage product line strategies, technology roadmaps, and life cycles to maximize growth and financial performance 

• Provide annual product line forecast and support global capacity planning 

• Own product line positioning and pricing for new product launches, current ongoing business, and global bids 

• Globally champion product line and proactively communicate plans and programs to cross-functional teams 

• Develop competitive intelligence programs and the corresponding counter strategies to maintain value, identify key products and focus areas for further value creation in the marketplace 

• Align business needs with operations and supply chain to prioritize and maximize service capabilities to customers while identifying ways to minimize overall cost position and risk for obsolescence 

• Lead focused meetings with sales, marketing, and operations in order to drive volume growth  

• Lead the strategy for regional expansion by engaging with commercial partners in high-growth regions to develop business plans to justify asset expansion, while engaging with the cross-functional teams needed to successfully progress capital estimates and approvals 

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferably in chemistry or engineering) 

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management 

• Proficiency with analysis using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Vendavo, Excel 

• Demonstrated strategy development with global execution  

• Financial acumen and quantitative analysis 

• Proven ability to successfully lead cross functional teams through uncertainty 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• This position is located at our global headquarters in Brecksville, OH with infrequent travel requirements (<10%)
