We are currently seeking a Global Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Position Summary:

NTTDATA Federal Government seeks a highly qualified Global Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide outstanding customer service supporting Global Activities in several countries worldwide. Global Activities supports networks which include network infrastructure, file servers, and messaging systems. As a Network engineer, you will support foreign nationals daily, including the administration, maintenance, and problem-solving for these systems. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to address Country Directors, Local IT, and Customers.

 

The employee assigned to Atlanta, GA area should be a US citizen and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, providing 24x7 operation on-call support.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and 3 technical services for large global tasks.
• Install, integrate, upgrade, operate, administer, and monitor LAN operating systems and servers in a Microsoft environment (CISCO certification preferred).
• Configure and implement applications and software on the LAN file server. Optimize disk storage and backup.
• Maintain network management utilities and audit trails.
• Communicate effectively with Country Directors, ITA, and customers.
• Travel internationally and domestically up to 2-3 weeks per month.
• Be a proactive self-starter with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Minimum 6 years of experience providing Level 2 and 3 technical services.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
