Global Education Specialist

If you are a Training and Development professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will create innovative and engaging classroom, online, and virtual education programs by partnering with subject matter experts across the organization. You will be responsible for implementing education programs and leading training completions in our learning management systems.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assess training engagement needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, and instructors.
- Create, organize, plan, and implement technical and skills training for employees and customers.
- Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in the global education focus area.

You follow through on commitments, express yourself in a credible and transparent manner, and model high standards of honesty and integrity. For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- Ability to design and implement effective training content
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, training and development or related field
- Experience with Articulate 360 suite, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research modes of training options and alternatives
- Strong interest and ability to work with engineering and scientific training materials
