The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Global Audit Quality & Data Analytics Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collaborating across the global audit team to drive audit processes, systems and tools, reporting and insights, and to supervise a team of data developers to drive continuous monitoring of risks and service data requests for audits and management requests. The ideal candidate will have superior communication and prioritization skills, and high proficiency in data gathering, analysis and interpretation for insights.
• Working cross-functionally and across geographies to help drive strategic data and quality priorities of the global audit organization
• Identifying opportunities and prioritizing projects for analytics-driven insights and improvements
• Helping to advance the organization’s key objective of continuous controls monitoring and high-quality audits
• Fostering an environment of ongoing education and professional development, encouraging team members to engage with the latest advancements in data analytics and apply innovative techniques to enhance audit quality and effectiveness

Your Skills and Expertise

 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance and/ or Accounting (completed and verified prior to start) 
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Finance and/ or Accounting in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

•    Detail-oriented with strong project management, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and presentation skills 
•    CPA, CA, CISA, and/or CIA 
•    Big 4 integrated-audit experience 
•    Experience managing project work with tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to engage at all levels of the organization
•    Demonstrated success in developing and executing against project plans
•    Comfortable in both individual contributing roles and cross-functional team management roles
•    Familiarity with data engineering concepts, scriptwriting, and workflow
 

Work location:

·       Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote)

·       You can be required to travel 3M headquarters in Maplewood a week per quarter.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
