Geospatial Analyst

Athenix Special Missions (ASM) is seeking a Geospatial Analyst at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, Virginia.

Location: Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, VA   

Must be a U.S citizen   

Security Clearance: TS-SCI   

Summary:  The Air Force (AF) Air Combat Command (ACC) is responsible for the Organizing, Training, and Equipping activities to satisfy mission and readiness requirements as the AF Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) provider. ACC maintains combat-ready forces for rapid deployment and employment through regional ACC and other Component Major Commands (C-MAJCOM) Air Component Commanders supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) tasks.

This position is located at the 480th ISR Wing, headquartered at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. Aligned under 16 AF, the 480th ISR Wing is the lead wing for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), and includes national cryptologic, information technology, cyber ISR, tactical analysis, Combined Forces Air Component Commander-support, and national-to-tactical signals intelligence integration. The wing executes global full spectrum ISR operations for USAF major command Air Components and combatant commander operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social and physical sciences.
• Exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to include non-geospatially correlated data to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.
• Provide analysis on, but is not limited to, terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
• Provide in-depth analytical research and gather, collate, analyze, fuse, and report on allocated ISR activity in support of the assigned mission of the supported organization.
• Analyze complex network nodes (individuals and groups) and characterize linkages that show the relationships or movements between nodes.
• Function as part of an intelligence analytical unit providing intelligence support as directed by the government.
• Other tasks as required.

   Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-10 years of experience in the Intelligence field
• Must have Analytical Explotation Team (AET) experience
