We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Support the Project Construction solar management team by managing specific portions of the project including technical, construction, quality, cost and schedule. Supports development and management of specific portions of project budget and schedule. Coordinate plant development and design process including safety, development of system, coordination with contracting team to conduct project diligence and ensure system documentation is complete. Major complex projects including new solar generating facilities with heavy emphasis on environmental, operational, and system design aspects, and other major complex projects typically exceeding $100M per project with multiple complex projects developed simultaneously. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. 
This position requires 25% travel as needed to support active construction projects.
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects, project or system engineering, or leading multi-functional teams in a matrix environment. 
• Detailed technical knowledge of large power plant systems and equipment and operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of major power plants and equipment including but not limited to solar system, gas pipeline, electrical and/or distribution electric systems, generators, control systems, electrical/instrumentation, or other balance-of-plant systems.
• Some station and engineering experience preferred.
• Must have good technical and cost management skills.
• Strong communication and integration skills are required. 
• Ability to coordinate processes and provide leadership in a team environment. 
• Ability to analyze information and made sound decisions. 
• Demonstrated computers skills.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

 Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines:  Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
