Job Description

AECOM Hunt has an immediate need for an experienced General Superintendent for our Sports Complex construction projects in the Orlando, FL area. 

• Serves as top advisor on projects of large scope and complexity and is recognized as industry leader in the field.
• Provides marketing and business development support and may have considerable interaction with clients.
• This is primarily an advisory, not supervisory, position, but may have a small number of direct reports.
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Engineering/Construction Management and 12 years of relevant construction superintendent experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.

Preferred Requirements:

• 12 years of experience as a Superintendent working on large, mega construction projects.
• Experience as a General Superintendent.
• Experience in the management and selection of subcontractors.
• Ability to interact with team members as well as key stakeholders, Owners Reps, etc.
• Proficiency with construction management software (CMiC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience in sports complex, high rise, hospitality construction.

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• This position is not hybrid nor remote.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
