Position Overview: The Transportation Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of RVI Scranton Transportation Fleets. This role involves overseeing fleet maintenance facilities to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, managing transportation mode rate contract negotiations, and strategic operational planning. The manager will also handle departmental personnel management and collaborate closely with all RVI rendering locations and both internal and external customers to ensure service requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations for transportation fleets.
• Oversee fleet maintenance facilities to meet OSHA standards.
• Negotiate transportation mode rate contracts.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans.
• Manage departmental personnel, including multiple groups performing varied tasks.
• Collaborate with RVI rendering locations and address customer needs to ensure adequate service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in standard computer applications.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage two or more groups within a single department.
• Travel Requirements: 5-10 trips annually.
