For over 30 years, Affordable Plumbing & Heating has proudly served the Colorado Springs community providing quality service to our customers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our leadership team. 

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives that drive company growth. This position requires a hands-on leader who is highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations of the company, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment focused on employee engagement, development, and retention.
• Lead, mentor, and train employees on effective sales strategies providing guidance & support to maximize sales potential and achieve targets.
• Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement, and drive process optimization.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and provide updates on key performance areas.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring cost control and profitability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership position
• 2+ years of sales experience preferred 
• Strong business acumen with a track record of successfully managing operational and financial performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
• Strong knowledge of the plumbing & HVAC industry best practices, trends, and regulations preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Great work ethic
