As General Manager, you are responsible for building the processes and management so that we can achieve our revenue targets. Unlike a purely financial or growth role, you will not only set and track targets for the company but also work hand-in-hand with the CEO to manage and execute them.

This is a critical, all-encompassing leadership role that will challenge us to think bigger, to move faster, and to operate with data-driven discipline. As a leader, you will have significant autonomy and set the pace for business partners to execute and deliver while building the processes to ensure company-wide visibility and accountability.

Italic is on the lookout for a seasoned General Manager with a strong track record in corporate financial management and growth strategy. Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader, passionate about driving a brand's financial success and operational growth while keeping its essence alive and vibrant. Your two mandates are growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Driving Growth and Profitability

- Assume the overall strategic leadership responsibility for the financial performance and growth of Italic

- Develop and implement a robust growth strategy targeting profitability and sustainability in the long term

- Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) management of Italic, including setting financial targets, forecasting, and managing key performance metrics

Performance Management

- Set clear performance KPIs and targets in line with the brand's strategic objectives

- Monitor and manage operational performance against set goals, adapting strategies as necessary to keep the brand on track

Risk Management and Decision-Making

- Identify and prepare for potential operational and financial risks

- Make informed, efficient, and effective decisions based on comprehensive understanding of Italic's financial position and market trends

Team Leadership

- Build, manage, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to achieving the brand’s objectives

- Establish a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.

Revitalizing the Brand

- Work alongside creative, vision, and product strategy teams to ensure the brand maintains its core values and unique market position

- Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at igniting passion for the brand, thereby fueling growth

Requirements:

Skills and Abilities

- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience, with a focus on financial management, corporate strategy, and growth

- Excellent financial acumen and experience in corporate financial management

- Proficient in the use of financial management software

- Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills

- Strong business acumen with a strategic ability
