Job Description

The General Maintenance Helper supports facilities management functions at CMI’s customer located in Carville, LA. This full time role pays $18.44/hr.

Key Job Functions

• Responsible for changing light bulbs and lint screens
• Perform Light landscaping, grass cutting, edging, weed eating
• Performs other minor tasks as permitted.
• Perform daily rounds to inspect air handlers, lights, door locks and interior and exterior of buildings perimeter fence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in tight restricted spaces and work from a ladder
• Ability to withstand bending, squatting, walking, and prolonged standing
• Self-starter with good initiative to get the job done with little to no direct supervision
