The main duties of this position is to clean the loading docks, restacking pallets on trailers, sweep out trailers and other tasks that are assigned.  Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of year.  If you’re ready to be a team player in a family like setting with a rich history, then apply now.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures the loading dock is clean
• Help with the unloading process of trailers (restack pallets, pick up wood material, etc.)
• Sweep out and clean trailers 
• Other tasks that are assigned

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent lifting and bending of nothing more than 40 lbs.
• Ability of standing and walk for extended periods of time.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
• Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided).
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday – Friday 7am until at least 5pm sometimes later, sometimes earlier
• Some Saturday work may be required
