Job Title: Day Porter

Pay Scales:

• Tier 1   $24.00 (New Hire)
• Tier 2   $25.50 - $27.00 (2 or more years with the company)
• Tier 3   $26.00 - $28.00 (4 or more years with the company)

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and orderliness on customer sites. This position requires someone who can work independently, identify areas for improvement, and proactively offers assistance to enhance site safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks, address site issues, and provide suggestions to ensure a pristine and safe environment for all. 

Shift: Day shift starts at 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM -  M-F

We are looking for someone who has a good driving record, can work effectively in a solo capacity, driving themselves to each worksite, servicing the property, documenting the work, and moving on to the next worksite. 

Job Duties:

1. Remove debris from all landscaping beds and parking areas
2. Change and clean garbage can lid and liners
3. Clean bathrooms or vacant units as required by the property manager
4. Change cigarette urns
5. Help with site reviews
6. Perform miscellaneous work orders
7. Complete illegal dump pickups as needed
8. Complete graffiti removal as needed
9. Complete all other requests made by the supervisor or management.

1. Driving – Must have a clean driving record and valid WA State Driver’s License.
2. Language - The ability to read and interpret documents and use a handheld smartphone data device that provides information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
3. Dependability - Arrives to work consistently and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on time, completes tasks on time, or notifies a supervisor with an alternate plan.
