Gaming Operations Intern Poker

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Support Poker Room operations by assisting with guest service, room flow, and table needs
• Learn and observe poker dealing procedures, game protection, and regulatory compliance
• Shadow Poker Supervisors and Managers to understand operational decision-making
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready Poker environment
• Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
• Provide friendly, professional service to all guests and team members
• Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and project-based assignments
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and move throughout the poker room
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

•  Must be 21 years of age or older
•   Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Hospitality, Business, Gaming, or related field preferred)
•  Strong interest in gaming operations, hospitality, or casino leadership
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
•  Basic proficiency with technology and mobile devices
•  Ability to obtain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License
