Description
The Gaming Graphic Design Intern will collaborate with our creative teams at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW). This role offers valuable growth opportunities in graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling within the gaming and interactive entertainment industry.
The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for gaming. They should be eager to take on a variety of tasks and contribute to the visual identity of our gaming projects.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media, including social media posts, website assets, promotional materials, and in-game elements.
- Support the development and maintenance of brand guidelines for gaming and interactive entertainment projects, ensuring consistent and cohesive visual representation across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing, social media, and development teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts that align with project goals and resonate with target audiences.
- Help manage design projects from concept through completion, adhering to deadlines and incorporating feedback from senior designers and project stakeholders.
- Research design trends in the gaming industry and propose adjustments to current strategies accordingly.
- Prepare visual assets for marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs.
- Assist with event activations, contributing to the design and setup of marketing booths and visual displays at gaming and entertainment events.
- Work outside of normal M-F (9-5) workday; must be available to work events on weekends and evenings as required.
- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Experience working in events, operations, or hospitality desired.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.

Physical Requirements for Position:
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.??
- The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.?
- The ability to work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operate phones, computers, copiers/scanners, and other office equipment.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.??
- The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.??
- The ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and complete repetitive hand and write motions for periods of time as required for the position.?
