About the role

Apogee is seeking a Certification and Evaluation (C&E) Military Operations Analyst for Space Control Programs in support of the C&E Branch of United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) at Peterson SFB, CO.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Participating in certification events and support assessments for Space Control Program Certification and Evaluation (C&E) in support of Space Control Planning Teams (SCPTs)
  • Support training of command evaluators
  • Coordinate within SMDC and across the Joint Space Control Community
  • Facilitate planning of Army Space Control requirements
  • Facilitate the Certification, Confirmation, and Validation (CCV) process to maintain operational readiness
  • Utilize current and develop new Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) to incorporate into the standardization and training program

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility Education: High School Diploma
  • Years of experience:  14+ years’ relevant Space Control Operations experience with:
    • Operational experience as a planner with a Space Control background to include experience as a planner or instructor.
    • Understanding of exercise integration and planning requirements for Space Control to support service and joint force requirements
    • Experience in training Soldiers and understanding their space-specific mission sets
    • Ability to travel, sometimes on quick notice

     

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant Space Control experience, OR

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant Space Control experience

 

Benefits & Compensation:

Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
    • Salary Range: $75,000 to $118,000
