Responsibilities include:
The Future Operations Planner will be part of an Accenture Federal Services team supporting a federal organization. The Planner will provide support with interagency, joint, inter-departmental elements to understand future plans, plan maritime and expeditionary exercises and operations, coordinate and contribute to intelligence studies and briefings, products related to exercises and operations, evaluate and analyze collection requirements and communicate them between the command and its customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in mission development, planning, staff development, and process implementation, and scheduling and de-confliction for training, exercises, operations, and deployments.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert advice to the CO on component/theater level operational planning.
- Assist Departments/Divisions with the development of campaign plans that identify malign activities and their effects on interagency and Naval forces and assist with the establishing appropriate intelligence objectives.
- Develop, review and refine plans (OPLANS and CONPLANS), briefs, orders, and make recommendations on how to integrate unit capabilities law existing policies and doctrine.
- Support an Operational Planning Team (OPT) in developing command strategic objectives into integrate into theater and Fleet operations and exercises.
- Represent the Commanding Officer, at planning conferences and working groups with Theater and level planners.
Here's what you need:
- 5 years of mission planning experience
- Experience working strategic operations and/or contingency plans
- Experience working pre and post deployment movements and logistics
- Must be able to travel OCONUS for 2-4 trips annually
Bonus points if you have:
- 10 years of mission planning experience
- Experience supporting reserve pre-mobilization trainings, mobilizations, annual training, and active duty training
- Demonstrated effective communication both orally and in writing
- Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
