What does your work entail?

As a Functional Consultant at Energyworx, your main responsibility is the implementation of our own software within the application landscape of our client. This involves requirement analysis, designing business processes, documenting proposed solutions, configuring the system, testing, and creating end-user documentation.

The business processes can be VEE, billing determinants calculation, profiling, forecasting, portfolio management or any other processes, some of which use machine learning techniques. In close cooperation with your technical colleagues, you orchestrate business rules into flows that execute the core business processes of our energy clients at a cloud scale. You set up monitoring and follow-up processes using Energyworx configurable dashboards and task management features. Moreover, you coach and train the client or implementation partners in configuring their own flows, dashboards, and task management processes.

As a consultant, you listen to the customer’s requirements to help them understand their business problems. The result is that you and your technical colleagues design a solution or a PoC for the Client’s challenges and propose this to the Commercial team. This consultancy can be executed on-site, at the Energyworx office, or remotely. You work in a high-tech environment with the newest (Google) cloud, analytics, and machine learning technologies. Always looking out for interesting innovations, you cooperate with the Product team to effectively use these technologies to improve our business use cases, platform, and working method

Requirements

Who are you?

You are enthusiastic and communicative with a good sense of humor. You can listen carefully and understand business challenges. With your creativity, you proactively are able to come up with smart solutions that benefit the customer. You are an expert in communicating these solutions to the client and the project team through a solution design or a PoC.

Background

• Minimal 2 years of experience as a consultant, IT business analyst (or similar) in the retail side of energy and utilities

• Experience in enterprise system implementation projects at energy and utility companies;

• Solid understanding of specific energy & utilities business processes and datasets in areas like meter data management, portfolio management, forecasting, settlement, energy balance, and billing determinant calculations;

• Requirements analysis and documentation experience;

• Experienced in IT system testing and test report creation;

• Ability to communicate and reason about concrete solution designs;

• Fluent in English, both in writing as well as verbally;

• Bachelor or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
