Tasks & responsibilities
- Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding a cross-functional team committed to the design and development of premier AI-based knowledge management, search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- You will be instrumental in shaping the architectural vision alongside the leadership team. By setting the architecture strategy, influencing the roadmap, ensuring successful design, implementation, and integration in our Solution Eco System, you will also collaborate closely with our strategic vendors.
- Your continuous engagement in technology and solution discovery will influence the product backlog based on business impact, feasibility, and user insights.
- Keeping an eye on industry trends and the competitive landscape, you will identify new opportunities and ensure our solution remains at the forefront of innovation. This will also involve scaling our knowledge platform to new heights, enabling the seamless onboarding of new knowledge repositories with hundreds of thousands of documents.
- Your role will extend beyond development, as you provide guidance and support to internal customers on knowledge search best practices. This will help them design and run effective solutions, thereby improving quality and trust across the board.
- To measure the success and business impact of features launched within the knowledge search platform, you will establish goals, metrics, and feedback loops.
- Embracing a fearless approach, you will challenge the status quo of our current practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, (Business) Information Technology or equivalent with long-term experience in Solution Architecture, developing scalable, data-driven software products, working closely with both business and product stakeholders, engineers, and analysts
- Deep understanding of software architecture and technologies for knowledge management, search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies and relevant tools, paired with expert knowledge in AI (NLP, LLMs)
- Exceptional customer focus, always considering the needs and perspectives of both external and internal customers
- Leadership abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
- Methodical problem-solving skills, with experience collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and analysts
- An agile mindset with extensive experience managing agile product teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate business challenges, decisions, and priorities to engineering teams and business stakeholders
