Full Stack Software Engineer (TS/SCI)

Maxar is currently seeking a Mid level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team. This role will be performed in our Maxar facility located in Herndon, Virginia.  

As a Maxar team member, you will have the opportunity to closely support our mission partners, and your work will have direct mission impact.  In this role, you'll work closely with other software developers as well our infrastructure and cybersecurity teams leveraging open-source tools to create and maintain a diverse range of applications served out to thousands of users.

What You’ll Be Doing:   

Developing web applications for real-time query and analysis of our petabyte-scale data store, creating distributed analytics purpose-built to support our mission partners, and helping to construct new and maintain existing data pipelines tasked with automatically retrieving and ingesting data.

Minimum Requirements:   

• Must be a US citizen. 

• Current Top Secret security clearance w/ SCI Eligibility and willing to get a CI poly 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. A Master's degree may count as an additional 2 years of experience.).  

• 5 years demonstrated experience with programming, design, and development.
