As a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack at CB Insights, you'll be part of a cross-disciplinary self-motivated team with clear ownership and passion to shape the future using state-of-the-art technologies. Your Main Tasks:

• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces for our next-generation market intelligence platform
• Work with TypeScript/React to build beautiful, maintainable frontend applications
• Take on increasing backend development responsibilities, with mentorship and support from the team
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement services
• Consistently deliver well-engineered, tested solutions within agreed-upon timeframes
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Share knowledge with colleagues and help identify opportunities for both frontend and backend architecture improvements

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience building scalable applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and Go.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and performance optimization
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency developing in a Mac/Linux environment

Nice to Have:

• Data processing with Python / Pandas / Jupyter
• Familiarity with NoSQL database technology
• CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.
• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf

Please note this is a US-based role.

In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for a bonus opportunity.

A little bit about our pay practices: Typically, we will hire at our Hiring Target, but actual starting pay may be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation,  and candidate experience.
