Full-Stack Software Developer

We are searching for an experienced full-stack software developer to support one of several small Scrum teams developing a web-based telecommunications modeling system. Occasional telework is permitted but the position requires regular in-office support and the ability to be onsite at NSWC Dahlgren when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Performing software development as part of a focused Scrum team
- Write unit tests for code prior to submitting for peer review
- Performing peer review for other developers
- Assisting other Scrum teams with inter-team dependencies
- Assisting team members with troubleshooting issues in deployed code
- Participate in planning events and Scrum ceremonies (daily standup, sprint planning, reviews/demonstrations, and retrospectives)
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- 3-5 years' experience performing web application development as part of a Scrum team
- Experience with front-end languages and technologies (e.g. Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Experience with back-end technologies and languages (e.g. elasticsearch, sql, C#)
- Experience with Agile issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira, GitLab, Microsoft Azure)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience using a Kubenetes, Logstash, and Elastic (ELK) stack
- Experience deploying to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment
- Experience using message-broker software (e.g. RabbitMQ)
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $102,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
