Full Stack Developer – Care Directory Team

HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Full Stack Developer – Care Directory Team. As a member of the Care Directory Team, this position supports web and mobile technologies that enhance our patient scheduling efforts. This role is instrumental in creating innovative web solutions by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining HealthPartners' web applications, encompassing both front-end interfaces and back-end services. Collaboration with designers, product owners, and fellow developers is essential to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
The developer will report directly to the Web & Mobile Supervisor and will join a collaborative team of 11 professionals, which includes analysts, engineers, and developers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- Three (3) years’ experience in full stack development frameworks with Java, Node, and Typescript
- Proficiency in React/Vue or another reactive UI framework
- Familiarity with RESTful API's and Web Services
- Strong experience in GitHub for version control and CI/CD
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full stack web application development.
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements
- Good understanding of system and application infrastructure and database architecture
- Experience writing technical documentation and business documentation
- Proven ability to work in agile environments with participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, iterative development cycles and retrospectives.
- Comfortably using Agile tools such as Jira or similar
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Available for on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis
Hours/Location:
- M-F; Days
- Position may work primarily remote but will be required to be onsite for occasional onsite meetings.
- Position will participate in an on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product owners, UX and Accessibility to design, build and maintain web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services.
- Write efficient code that is both clean and maintainable.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to deploy and test features in Agile sprints.
- Communicate across teams and develop across a wide range of solutions for both external and internal clients.
- Troubleshoot, debug and support Quality Assurance team.
- Tech Support for Production Issues.
- Stay current with emerging technologies.
