Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a consistent, patient-centered role without the stress of hospital unpredictability? IVX Health is hiring a full-time RN to join our team in Durham and Cary, supporting 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with a light Saturday rotation (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3 Saturdays per 4 months).
This opening will support coverage for a planned RN resignation effective September 2025, provide PTO support for the team, and ensure seamless training and onboarding continuity in one of our highest-need markets.
What You Will Do
- Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Conduct Patient Assessments – Conduct patient assessments, document observations, and monitor treatment responses.
- Educate and Support Patients – Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Ensure Compliance and Quality – Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Optimize Clinical Workflows – Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
- Support Operations and Training – Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Flexibility and Adaptability – Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
- Perform Additional Duties – Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For

Active and Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina or compact state.

Life Support Certifications – BLS required; PALS preferred.

Clinical Experience – Experience in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.

IV and Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering specialty biologics, managing medications, and responding to adverse events.

Strong Clinical Documentation Skills – Comfortable with EHR systems and well-versed in HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance.

Exceptional Communication and Collaboration – Able to partner effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Schedule Flexibility – Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and participating in the Saturday rotation as needed.
