We are focused on making large groups of autonomous systems work effectively together. We leverage existing Anduril drone platforms like Ghost or Altius, in addition to bringing 3rd party platforms into Anduril’s Lattice ecosystem.<br><br><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong><br><br>We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing custom, map-based UI/UX for autonomous system command and control. You will work with customers to understand their requirements, design bespoke user interfaces with excellent user experiences. If you are someone who possess a “Whatever It Takes” mindset—executing in an expedient, scalable, and pragmatic way while keeping the mission top-of-mind and making sound engineering decisions then this role is for you.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with pilots and other drone users to understand how to design UX’s to reduce cognitive burden while still ensuring safety of flight</li> <li>Design, build, and deploy a real-time, map-based interface for displaying and interacting with sensor data and commanding physical assets</li> <li>Fetch and manage large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low-friction user experience</li> <li>Build and design immersive image-viewing experiences on multiple platforms, including web-based and mobile 3D image viewing</li> <li>Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints</li> </ul> <p><strong>CORE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree</li> <li>Experience working on frontend applications, especially data-intensive or map-based systems</li> <li>4+ years of
