As a Frontend Platform Developer, your role is pivotal in ensuring our frontend developers have the best environment to deliver top-quality and efficient code. You'll bridge the gap between frontend development and DevOps, leveraging your expertise in various technologies and tools such as Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and more.

Requirements

Your responsibilities

• Empowering Frontend Developers: Define and maintain the processes for code deployment and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration and streamlined workflows for our frontend development team.
• Reliable Frontend CI/CD Pipeline: Take charge of building and maintaining a robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tailored to the needs of frontend development.
• Collaboration with DevOps Team: Work closely with our DevOps team to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices, integrating their expertise into the frontend development process.
• Frontend Testing Infrastructure: Establish and maintain a reliable frontend testing infrastructure to ensure the delivery of high-quality and bug-free applications.
• Performance Optimization: Measure and work on cross-team metrics, such as bundle size, build time, and CI/CD performance, striving for continuous improvements.

About you

• Very good knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Very good knowledge of git, gitlab and gitlab-ci or a comparable system
• Experience with DevOps practices, particularly in areas like Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience in writing integration and end-to-end tests
• A degree in computer science or comparable, alternatively several years of professional experience in software/web development
• You enjoy solving difficult problems and learning new things
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is advantageous
