Front Desk Receptionist : Join Our Dental Practice and Enjoy a Competitive Compensation

At Dental Implants GPS, we are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients while fostering a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and ensure an outstanding patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Job Details:

  • Compensation: $26 - $28 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

As our Front Desk Receptionist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Warmly greet patients, visitors, and vendors, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Checking patients in and out, collecting necessary information, and updating patient records accurately.
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments using our dental software.
  • Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing information about our dental services.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and assisting patients in understanding their benefits.
  • Handling patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting payments, processing insurance claims, and providing receipts.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and a professional appearance.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • Following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient concerns or complaints in a professional and compassionate manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly phone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using dental practice management software is a plus (Open Dental/ Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using standard office equipment.
