THE JOB:
As a Front Desk Clerk at Excalibur, you will warmly welcome our guests, and by understanding their unique stories and needs, you will create WOW moments and lasting memories that they will cherish long after their stay with us.
STARTING RATE: $19.23 an hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Guest Services: Welcome guests to the property and the Signature family by providing memorable service, anticipating their needs, and resolving any complaints in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics.
Check-In/Check-Out Management: Manage guest room check-ins and check-outs, including early and late arrivals/departures and walk-ins, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Phone Inquiries: Answer phones and address guest inquiries promptly, offering assistance and information as needed.
Guest Experience Enhancement: Enhance the guest experience by offering upgraded accommodations where available and promoting M life enrollment and benefits.
Department Collaboration: Partner with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and fulfill special requests.
Transaction Handling: Ensure accurate posting of charges and credits, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance all cash and cash equivalents following property cash handling procedures.
Key Control & Security: Control and issue keys while promoting the security, privacy, and confidentiality of all guests.
Comprehensive Service: Hover between guest services and the airline desk to assist with guest needs and provide comprehensive service throughout their stay.
Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Work Schedule: Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Phone Etiquette: Excellent phone etiquette with the capability to manage both inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
Point of Sales (POS) Systems: Proficient in using POS systems for accurate transaction processing and effective inventory management.
Microsoft Office: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for seamless administrative and reporting tasks.
Bilingual: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse clientele.
