JOB TITLE: Framework and Risk Reporting - LBCM Controls Office   

SALARY: £80,000 - £145,000 

LOCATIONS: Edinburgh 

HOURS: Full-Time  

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.  

 

About This Opportunity  

We’re looking for a Senior Manager for the newly created Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) Control Office. LBCM plays an important and unique role in helping Britain prosper, by helping businesses who want to have an impact in the UK and providing excellent service to customers based outside of the UK.  

 

You'll lead the Risk Framework & Reporting Team whilst supporting the LBCM Control Officer to establish the Control Office as a centre of excellence across LBCM.  

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide control expertise to LBCM’s Risk & Control Owners, with specific focus on risks managed at LBCM Sub-Group, LBCM UK and within LBCM COO to optimise, and where possible automate, LBCMs control environment across all non-financial risk types. 

  • Produce high-quality entity-wide risk & control environment reporting to LBCM Risk Committee and LBCM Board Risk Committee. 

  • Plan and implement LBCM’s completion of Group-mandated risk management-related assessments on behalf of LBCM entity, e.g. Scenario Analysis, Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) assessment, and Policy Compliance. 

  • Promote a culture focussed on continuous improvement and simplification to optimise efficiency. 

  • Support the timely partner concern and reporting of Material Events to LBCM senior management and Board. 

  • Support risk and control owners to address control deficiencies and identify and implement remedial actions following operational risk events and breaches. 

 

Primary location of this team is Edinburgh, but with other key hubs considered.

What You'll Need  

  • Risk management and controls experience. 

  • Leadership experience, motivating and inspiring a team to deliver against their objectives, coaching and development. 

  • Experience in presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner as well as being able to comfortably challenge and influence partners at grade G and above through to Executive level. 

  • Ability to build strong partnerships and proven influencing and relationship management skills, to help drive cultural change across the business.
