Mold Preparation: Prepare and shape sand or other mold materials, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper alignment. Coremaking: Involved in creating cores, which are internal cavities within a mold, to form complex shapes in the casting. Pattern Handling: Working with patterns, which are replicas of the desired metal part, to create the mold cavity. Equipment Operation: Operation of various tools and machinery, including hand tools, pneumatic tools, and machinery for packing and molding. Molten Metal Handling: Involved in pouring molten metal into prepared molds. Quality Control: Inspection of molds and castings for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
