Forklift Oprerator - (A Shift)

Job Details:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Three months of accumulative forklift experience required

1. Must have basic math skills.

2. Must keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.

3. Rotate product in cooler by dates and take inventory.

4.  Wash down areas.

5. Load and unload trucks.

6. Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

7. Must be able to communicate with proper personnel.

8. Ability to work in cold atmosphere 35 degrees or less.

9. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.

10. Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.

11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

12. Must have and maintain forklift and pallet jack license within 10 days.

13. Must abide by all department safety rules.

14. May be subject to rotation.
