Working Foreman – Uckfield

Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Position: Working Foreman
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Duration: Long-term project

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman for a major project in Uckfield.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience running a site team and must hold SSSTS or SMSTS. We are particularly interested in a Working Foreman who can bring and manage their own experienced gang of lads.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Working Foreman / Site Supervisor

* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS

* Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements

* Able to read and work from drawings and specifications

* Good communication and leadership skills

* Reliable and able to manage a team effectively

* Ability to bring your own gang of experienced workers is highly desirable

* Relevant construction experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

* Supervising and coordinating your gang on site

* Managing day-to-day works and ensuring programmes are met

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety

* Coordinating with Site Management and other trades

* Ensuring work is completed to the required specification and quality

* Leading by example as a hands-on Working Foreman
