Pay Grade: 15 

Reports To: Director of Dining Services

Other Forms of Compensation: Merit increases yearly

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager supervises the overall success of the clinical (Long Term Care & Assisted Living) dining operation. Commits to exceeding the Dining Services vision to give our residents a place to celebrate their lives by offering them the freshest food, service, and nutrition in the industry.   Supervises, trains, motivates, develops, and directs all dining team members to accomplish the goals and objectives of the operation.  Solves problems professionally, rapidly, and fairly.  Builds and maintains rapport and relationships with Team members at all levels across the organization. Meets all regulatory guidelines. Maintains a working relationship with client.

Requirements:

• Must Have a minimum of 2+ years LTC (Long Term Care Facility) experience required
• Must be familiar with PA regulatory requirements.
• ServSafe required

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Resident Satisfaction and resolution of dining issues in skilled nursing and personal care
• Supervision and Development of Staff
• Financial Management and Analysis
• Menu Management
• Retail Management of staff cafe, signage, digital menu boards, promotions
• Overall Management of skilled nursing and personal care dining program under the direction of the dining services director

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years food service operation supervision experience 
• CDM, CFPP certification a plus.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client
• Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong passion for great food
• General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures
• Ability to follow all Company Health & safety standards
