JOB SUMMARY: 

The Food Supervisor is an integral part of the camper's experience, providing a dynamic platform of service that is unmatched. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Food and Beverage program, including staff, overall schedule, and appropriate use of and maintaining the facilities. The goal is to ensure a high level of training and progression, making sure staff is engaged and participating in a responsible manner.   

Facilities to manage:  

  • The Belly Union - Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily for campers and staff. 

  • The Grill -  Daily service for burgers, hot dogs and other grilled foods, served during lunch and dinner services. 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person   

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly  

  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability  

  • Strong attention to detail  

  • Comfortable handling confidential information   

  • Successful working in an independent and team environment  

  • Be punctual and prepared to greet and serve guests in a cordial, professional manner with a smile and positive attitude  

  • Dress neatly, modestly, in a professional manner, appropriate for the daily duties and in compliance for health and safety standards  

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups of people  

  • Comfortability in interacting with kids aged 7-17

Basic Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older 

  • Physical capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs 

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time 

  • Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations and guidelines 

  • Must be comfortable working in outdoor and indoor all-season environments 

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings 

  • Develop a mindset to always help or cross trai
