Flt Counterbalance Driver

Location: Sheffield, S9
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:15am–4:15pm
Pay: £16 Per hour
Contract: 12-week temporary contract with a view to permanent employment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy industrial operation based in Tinsley, S9

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift and feeding machinery with materials, working within a fast-paced metal-processing environment.

The Role

* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently

* Feeding machines with the required materials

* Moving and handling metal products around the site

* Loading and unloading materials when required

* Supporting the production team to keep machinery running efficiently

* Following all site health & safety procedures

* Completing basic measurements and calculations as required

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

* Previous counterbalance forklift experience

* Experience working within the metals industry

* Ideally, experience with processes such as metal crushing, turning or similar

* A good level of maths and numeracy

* Good attention to detail

* A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

* The ability to work safely and as part of a team

* A valid counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
