What You Bring  

 

We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, takes pride in their work, and can work effectively as part of a team. 

 

Education & Experience 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or floor maintenance preferred. 
  • Experience stripping, waxing, buffing, or burnishing floors is a plus. 
  • Ability to learn and safely operate a variety of floor care equipment. 
  • Ability to pass and maintain required security clearance/background screening. 

 

Skills & Abilities 

  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions. 
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines. 
  • Ability to use good judgment when performing assigned responsibilities. 
  • Ability to learn proper operation, care, troubleshooting, and maintenance of different types of floor equipment. 
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, adaptability, initiative, and willingness to learn. 
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
  • Ability to interact respectfully and supportively with people with disabilities. 
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

What You Will Do  

  • Safely operate and maintain floor care equipment, including electrical and battery-powered machines. 
  • Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, stripping, and refinishing.
