Pay Rate:

$81,700 - $108,900

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.
Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short –term incentive plan.

The Prattville Mill is a complex manufacturing facility.  The mill includes multiple process lines of wood handling, pulping, power and recovery, and effluent treatment. This position is in Power and reports to the Fibers Area Maintenance Manager

 

The successful candidate will be first and foremast a Safety Leader for the Maintenance Department.  He or she will set clear expectations, promote accountability throughout the Crew, and deliver expected results to all customers.  He or she must support year-over-year reductions in unscheduled equipment downtime and drive compliance with annual Maintenance Department objectives.

 

 

The Job You Will Perform:

• Enables the Power Mechanical Crew to work safely and efficiently through training, monitoring and continuous coaching and mentoring.
• Manage daily area maintenance decisions, to include staffing, work prioritization and spending.
• Ensure effective communication between the maintenance team and other mill teams.
• Responsible for work execution within department and the overall effectiveness of the Notification and Work Order System.
• Responsible for effective participation with the MWS team.
• Creates daily/weekly schedule and executes priority of work.
