First-Line Flightline Operations Manager

The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Flightline Operations Manager (Level K) to support the Final Air Vehicle Paint team in Seattle and Renton, Washington on 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift.
This is a unique opportunity to lead teams in daily operational production system processes and provide technical oversight in the planning and execution of aircraft paint. Successful candidates must be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, cross-functional support and direct reports.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery
- Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience of experience in Manufacturing, Flightline, or Paint Operations
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
- 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft decorative paint
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Willing to work any shift (may be selected for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (within the Puget Sound)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in flight line operations
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
- 3+ years of experience working with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES)
- 3+ years of experience applying and evaluating decorative paint for color match
- 3+ years of experience finishing and painting in either Aircraft, Automotive or Marine Industry
- Leading the aforementioned activities
- Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $124,200 - $151,800
