Fire Alarm Inspection Manager

Description

Position Overview: The Alarm Inspections Manager reports directly to the Total Service Manager 

and plays a critical role in managing the Service Department. This position requires expertise in 

leadership, communication, problem solving, decision making, quality control, and technical support.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage fire alarm and extinguisher inspections 
• Recruit, develop, and motivate a highly productive team of promotable technicians
• Be available to support technicians and coordinators
• Understand workload and manage manpower as needed
• Ensure material is available and staged for service and truck inventory
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
• Assist the scheduling coordinator daily to make sure that technicians are being scheduled effectively
• Review all completed work orders daily for quality control and efficiency 
• Review all inspection reports daily for accuracy
• Review open work orders weekly and provide a solution to resolve in a timely manner
• Ensure technicians are maintaining company vehicles in a safe and clean condition
• Set internal expectations to ensure customer expectations are met

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the commercial fire alarm field is mandatory.

Working knowledge of major fire system brands.
