Financial Systems Manager (Hybrid Remote)

Salary: $110,000 - 140,000/yearThis position allows for 2-3 days per week remote / work from home after training. The Financial Systems Manager will oversee and manage the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our financial systems, specifically focusing on Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and Management Reporter. This role requires a strong technical background combined with excellent leadership and analytical skills. The successful candidate will ensure that our financial systems run efficiently, support strategic decision-making, and align with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• System Management and Optimization:
• Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Dynamics GP and Management Reporter.
• Lead the integration of financial systems with other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Design and generate complex financial reports using Management Reporter, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Analyze financial data and system reports to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom financial reports as required by various stakeholders.
• Project Management:
• Manage system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• User Support and Training:
• Provide expert support to end-users, resolving system issues and facilitating user training sessions.
• Create and maintain user documentation and training materials to enhance user proficiency with financial systems.
• Compliance and Best Practices:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through effective system controls and audit processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
• Leadership and Team Collaboration:
• Lead a team of financial systems analysts and administrators, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to align system functionalities with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience with Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and Management Reporter.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and system integration.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
