Business Technology is an organization of problem solvers. We manage, procure and maximize investment in technology across all Business teams within Miro. Our team is composed of Architects, Product Owners, Analysts, and Developers who deliver flawless execution of end to end business process automation. We are a team that delivers technology solutions to achieve business goals of the company.
We expect to be partnered on all solution evaluations as SME's to solve the business problems. We own Architecture and High Level Design for Business Systems. We act as technology partners to all Business and Operations teams to ensure we build scalable solutions across the business. We pride ourselves on maximizing Miro's investment in tooling and maintaining the health of tools.
About the Role
As a key member of our Business Technology team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by collaborating with Strategic Finance and Accounting teams. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a profound understanding of our Finance systems landscape and business processes. By leveraging this knowledge, you will identify opportunities for improvement and maximize the effectiveness of our current tools.
In close coordination with Accounting and Finance Organizations, you will be instrumental in executing Finance strategies and initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to seamless collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The focus will be on fostering efficiency, enhancing collaboration, and ultimately achieving our business objectives within a dynamic and competitive landscape.
This role requires a strategic mindset, strong technical leadership, and the ability to navigate complex business processes. By driving innovation and optimization in our systems and processes, you will contribute significantly to the success and growth of our organization.
What you’ll do
- Deliver Foundation for Scale within Finance Technology:
- Lead initiatives to establish a robust foundation for scaling finance technology systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency in financial operations.
- Friction Simplification in Billing and Order to Cash Workflows:
- Identify and streamline billing and order-to-cash workflows to reduce friction and enhance operational efficiency, optimizing processes for maximum effectiveness.
- Deliver OKRs for Finance Organization:
- Collaborate with finance leadership to define and deliver on key objectives and results (OKRs), aligning finance technology initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- SOX Compliance of Core Finance Tool in Netsuite:
- Lead efforts to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance of core finance tools, particularly in Netsuite, through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Deliver Technical Expertise of Finance Technology within Miro:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on finance technology, providing guidance, training, and support to finance teams and stakeholders across the organization.
What you’ll need
- 7+ Years Experience in a similar role in SaaS vertical
- Expertise in Financial Planning Tools
- Proficiency in Recurring Billing Systems
- Financial Accounting Expertise
- Experience with Multi-Subsidiary, Multi-Currency Organizations
- Technical Mastery of Netsuite ERP
- Certifications and Compliance Knowledge
- Experience in Netsuite Consulting Role Preferred
