Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Financial Planning Assistant to support our advisory team. This role involves gathering, entering, and analyzing client data using Money Guide, our financial planning software. You will also lead the integration of MoneyGuide Wealth Studios, helping us enhance client engagement and planning outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on precision, process improvement, and learning new tools. You will also assist with operational and administrative tasks that contribute to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, organize, and update client financial data from internal systems and external sources
Accurately enter and maintain client information and meeting follow-up items in Money Guide and CRM
Build and maintain financial plans, including scenario modeling and goal tracking
Spearhead the integration and utilization of Money Guide Wealth Studios
Collaborate with advisors to prepare planning materials for client meetings
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, data accuracy, and planning efficiency
Stay current on updates and best practices related to Money Guide and Wealth Studios
Answer client questions and provide readily available account information, as allowable
Support colleagues and assist with franchise-wide tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of experience in financial services or a related field preferred
Familiarity with Money Guide, Salesforce, Thomson ONE, and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
Strong analytical skills and mindfulness
Tech-forward mindset with a passion for learning new software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
