About the job
SUMMARY
This is a key support role to the Division CFO. This job is responsible for financial analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and associated identification of opportunities/weaknesses/trends locally. The job additionally encompasses high visibility/impact support for the business as necessary, as well as the opportunity to collaborate towards M&A projects.
Financial Planning & Analysis leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Your tasks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Financial Reporting:
Coordinates and reviews month end closing procedures for all of Foodservice Systems Division (global footprint)
Prepares monthly performance reporting and power point slides
Executes deep dive result analysis for specific topics on a need basis (e.g. trends, gaps)
Supports annual budget and mid term planning cycle through creation of templates, monitoring of timeline, completeness checks, data review, plausibility checks, reporting package review etc.
Provides input for forecasting exercises
Strenghtens the usage of the business intelligence tool by providing accurate numbers and meaningful global standard reports
Aligns varying reporting approaches across the division through providing instructions and templates
Responds to queries from the finance community
Projects/business support:
Support or lead role in global or local projects, relative primarily to data gathering, data analytics, process mapping, process standardization
Preemptive analysis of business processes/lines and key functions, to identify improvement opportunities
Offers proposals and recommendations that would significantly impact the business.
Provides support to the local North American businesses for structural questions/analysis, where needed and useful
Plays potentially a key role in the upcoming S4 Hana ERP implementation project
Works with other divisional functions (e.g. procurement, marketing) as business partner
M&A:
Supports global M&A activities through analysis of target financial reports, data sets, due diligence documents (buy side)
Supports sell side M&A projects through providing relevant, accurate and filtered data and documents
Converts insights gained into price driving factors for financial modelling (price up/down corrections and/or synergies)
Supports onboarding/divesting targets for realized projects
Perform other duties as assigned.
