FinOps – Finance Analyst

Introduction to the Team

The PLS Financial Operations Team plays a critical role by partnering with the business to ensure the operations and execution of transactional payment to and from Expedia Group and on its financial platforms, including but not limited to roles within Corporate Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement Ops, and Partner Payment Operations & Services.

The Finance Analyst role sits within the Finance organization, working across organizations and Lines of Business to resolve financial transactions or system issues, and communicating internally and externally at various levels. 

In this role, you will: 

• Develop a broad knowledge base of systems and databases through experience, completing routine to complex responsibilities, and performing analyses.

• Use various financial systems and technologies for creating reports and conducting analyses.

• Lead the response to multiple complex or confidential information requests, providing guidance to others and ensuring the appropriate information is delivered to the right recipient(s).

• Perform detailed quality review checks on both data and analyses according to protocol and standards, using appropriate systems.

Experience and Qualifications: 

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Preferred: You have 2+ years’ experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• You can demonstrate a deep understanding of the financial, operational, and technical impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating cross functionally.

Please note that this role is only available in the following location: Springfield, in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. Relocation assistance will not be considered for candidates relocating to this location for this role.

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $51,500.00 to $72,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $82,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
