Collins Aerospace has an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls to join our Finance team.  The Solipsys Finance team is a small group of professionals responsible for a broad range of financial functions for the Solipsys organization, including program controls, FP&A, pricing, and indirect rate management.  The successful candidate in this role will primarily be focused on program controls for external programs as well as internal IOT/IWAs.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform project setup tasking and interface with project setup group to ensure proper implementation of new orders.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and charge codes.
  • Prepare external and internal financial deliverables and required monthly financial reporting for various program and company reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Orders-to-Cash team on all matters related to invoicing.
  • Develop program financial forecasts and Estimates-At-Completion (EACs).
  • Collaboration and frequent interaction with various functions (Contracts, Program Management, Quality, Customer Service Center, etc.)
  • Manage and provide financial oversight for IOT’s and IWAs.
  • Ad-hoc requests.
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment and balance requirements of multiple programs and multiple proposal efforts running concurrently.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must have a background in finance with government accounting experience.
  • Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP, Rplan & BW applications
