Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.

The Role at a Glance

This role is responsible for expense projections, analysis and identifying trends that impact Lincoln’s overall strategy.  It will also support the development of the annual budget and be a key player in system implementation to drive efficiencies.
 

About the Program

Lincoln Preparation Program (LPP) is a two-year development program designed to prepare high-performing, college graduates for strategic roles within our company. The goal is to accelerate the growth of associates within two years, providing them with the tools to take charge and further their career at Lincoln Financial Group. Program participants are placed within one business area for the entirety of the two-year program. At the end of the program, participants will have the option to stay on their current team or explore other open opportunities within the business.
 

What you'll be doing

  • Creating 5-year expense projections and identifying/analyzing trends that impact the overall strategy.
  • Updating/maintaining expense study files that are used for assumption setting.
  • Quarterly expense gap reporting and variance explanations vs. the original quarterly plan.
  • Working with IT and the business on system implementations to drive efficiencies.
  • Assisting with expense reporting and analysis based on SLT requests.
     

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience:
•    College senior or recent college graduate must obtain 4 Year/Bachelor's degree by start date - Minimum Required 
•    A minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
•    Exceptional communication skills
•    Self-motivated and results-oriented 
•    Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Technology and innovation-like thinking

The pay range for this position is $42,300 - $75,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
